Roberto Santaguida
Since receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts in film production from Montreal’s Concordia University, Roberto Santaguida has worked in experimental and documentary filmmaking. His first short film Miraslava has screened in over 120 international film festivals and won 4 prizes. Since 2005, he has served as the artist-in-residence for cultural organizations in United States, Romania, Norway, and Australia. In 2011, Roberto was selected for a fellowship at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Germany. He is a recipient of the K.M. Hunter Artist Award. He currently making a short documentary about the famous solar eclipse of 1913. He is Pogon’s artist-in-residence from April till July 2014.
